This is your daily reminder to always be civically engaged and to keep exercising your voting rights.

Elections are not a one and done task. Elections do have a schedule. All elections (local, state, and federal) absolutely do matter.

Health equity is not a charity. It is not a mere race issue. Health inequities do exist via income, geography/location, gender, education, laws, policies, etc. It’s necessary to provide a reasonable level of medical care in remote or impoverished areas.

Had a wonderful time at the NYU Langone’s Health Equity Speaker Series featuring Dr. Yele Aluko. His presentation on health equity as a strategic business priority was great. The food was delicious. As a reminder, health equity is not a charity. It’s a topic that needs to be addressed.

The only thing that comes to my mind about my newsletter below is a quote from Benjamin Franklin, "A republic, if you can keep it". That quote was his answer to Elizabeth Willing Powel's question, "Well, Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?"

If you are based in the US, you might want to pay attention to your state and local governments. They matter a lot more than you think. PS — they also play major roles in public health.

"AI won't save healthcare on its own" is my current mantra. I explain why in this interview with Artur Olesch conducted after HIMSS in Paris last month: aboutdigitalhealth.com/2025/07/16/a...

This post took me about 3 months to complete. It includes history in summarized form. #History has reminded me that the human progress overall is not always moving in an upward linear fashion for reasons mainly to do with personal or external-facing challenges. anniezhe.substack.com/p/we-must-ha...
We must have a strong public health system for a strong nation.
How to achieve a strong public health system? What’s considered strong and what is weak?

@mattblaze.org Read your some of your responses to folks on your timeline. Holy cow! What's with these people's obsession about whether an election is hacked? Did these people forget voter suppression laws do exist at the state level? This is why state elections do matter!

Americans #StandWithUkraine, even while driving
💙💛

The Ukrainian flag travels across American roads and highways.

This way, good people can recognize each other🙂

A free nation will always support another one — even from thousands miles away.

Thank you, friends!
