Health equity is not a charity. It is not a mere race issue. Health inequities do exist via income, geography/location, gender, education, laws, policies, etc. It’s necessary to provide a reasonable level of medical care in remote or impoverished areas.

Had a wonderful time at the NYU Langone’s Health Equity Speaker Series featuring Dr. Yele Aluko. His presentation on health equity as a strategic business priority was great. The food was delicious. As a reminder, health equity is not a charity. It’s a topic that needs to be addressed.

The only thing that comes to my mind about my newsletter below is a quote from Benjamin Franklin, "A republic, if you can keep it". That quote was his answer to Elizabeth Willing Powel's question, "Well, Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?"
