1- First book finished in 2025

That would be Dinner on Monster Island by Tania De Rozario.

It’s a collection of essays about growing up queer in Singapore that draws heavy parallels with horror movies.

Dante’s Purgatory is definitely slower paced than Inferno. Seven Canti in and we haven’t even reached the gates to enter Purgatory itself.

I’ve been very annoyed with the discourse surrounding the Goodreads Choice Awards these past few weeks, and this excellent video summarizes my thoughts flawlessly.

The nominees are based on collected data. If they’re bad, it’s not on the website, it’s on READERS.

Why aren’t they making figurines of the girls too in that series? I already have all these guys (minus Sabo) from previous iterations. I want the women! And Chopper!

People who say that The Divine Comedy is not self insert fanfic have not read The Divine Comedy, because there’s no way to read this book and interpret it differently.

I’m not a fan of huge bulky Law interpretations. Trafalgar D. Water Law is a medicine nerd who doesn’t sleep enough and lives on fumes. He does not have the eating habits or exercise schedule that would turn him into muscle man.

AO3 people have the best understanding of word amounts out of anyone on earth. We can visualize the exact length of a 5K, 15K, 40K, 350K, etc. text so clearly.
