This has a VERY realistic chance of happening in Texas. I think people aren't seeing how pissed off the beef farmers are, the Latino vote is at being racially profiled, and how put off the MAGA faithful who believe he was going to expose Epstein are.

But here's the problem with that. Latinos are swinging back hard, beef farmers are getting hammered by Trump's policies and mad about it, and the jaded "Epstein" voters may not vote at all.

This is why I'm really hoping all these gerrymandered gerrymanders backfire on them in Texas.
Heavily Hispanic areas that shifted the most to the left in 2025 were virtually a mirror image of the places that had swung to Trump in 2024. The two cities that shifted the most toward Democrats were those with the highest percentage of Hispanic voters in the state.

My friend's Tool cover band is playing tonight, but all the way up in Spring. I'm sure I'll know a few people there, but my social anxiety of walking into an unknown bar alone is kind of crippling me. Do I go anyway? I'm sure it will be fine once I get there. But it's such a long drive!
