The Anne Frank House has obtained a German fairy tale book that once belonged to Anne and Margot Frank. The book contains twenty stories by the Brothers Grimm. It bears a stamp and an "MF" ex libris mark from Margot, and on the first page, Anne wrote their names: 'Anne Frank and Margot Frank'.

With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Jacqueline Sanders-van Maarsen on 13 February at the age of 96. Jacqueline was a classmate of Anne Frank at the Jewish Lyceum. 15 June 1942, Anne wrote: “Jacqueline van Maarsen I only got to know at the Jewish Lyceum and she is now my best friend.”

On 27 January #InternationalHolocaustRemembranceDay, it's 80 yrs since #Auschwitz was liberated. Otto Frank was among them. 'Anne Frank The Exhibition' opens on 27 January in New York City. It features a full-scale Annex reconstruction, original items including the cotton bag that Otto carried home.

During the winter of 1941, Anne Frank and her friends skated in Amsterdam’s most famous park: Vondelpark.
It was a happy moment in her short life.
