I'm so excited to share the punk-rock-vibes cover for Wild for Austen: A Rebellious, Subversive, and Untamed Jane. The book will be out 2 Sept '25. Thanks so much for your ongoing help getting this closer to the finish line for #JaneAusten's 250th, which promises to be a bright spot in 2025.

Received my advance copy of Jane Austen’s Bookshelf from @simonandschuster.bsky.social. I am so far enjoying @rebeccaromney.com’s take on my favorite eighteenth century writers (and honestly, it’s making me want to reread Udolpho again)

In honor of Jane Austen’s birthday, let me share one of my favorite childhood anecdotes of her, passed down by her niece Anna Austen Lefroy. It’s thought Jane was around six years old when she goaded her baby brother into trying to meet Cassandra’s chaise.

Had a great time yesterday speaking to JASNA-DC's annual birthday lunch for Jane Austen! Great crowd came out to hear about the challenges and rewards of trying to recover Austen from the archive. Also, what a fabulous lunch they put on!
