In terms of big disappointments, he gets honorable Manchin.

"I'm waiting for the day...we can all just kayak and eat M&Ms."

-@hcrichardson.bsky.social on Nov. 11 Politics Chat

Given that our government has ceased making economic data available, how 'bout a new Kayak + M&Ms Index?

Lord knows she has earned it.

"Mr. Epstein flatly asserted that Mr. Trump 'knew about the girls,' many of whom were later found by investigators to have been underage."
Breaking News: House Democrats released emails in which Jeffrey Epstein alleged that Donald Trump knew of the convicted sex offender's conduct and “spent hours at my house” with a victim.
Epstein Alleged in Emails That Trump Knew of His Conduct
In a message obtained by Congress, the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein wrote that Donald J. Trump spent hours at his house with one of Mr. Epstein’s victims.

Professor @hcrichardson.bsky.social, your nation of students took to heart your advice that we pay attention to 52,000+ local elections that were held around the country this week.

I think we aced the assignment. 🤓

Thanks, as always, for the encouragement. Hope we made you proud.

Hey, Trump Madministration, here's an idea -- stop paying ICE agents and start paying air traffic controllers instead.

There. Solved it for you.

Remember how Texas sued Tylenol over autism claims?

Sounded crazy, huh? Drove Tylenol's stock price down.

Now Tylenol is being scooped up by Kimberly-Clark.

Would be curious to know if any members of the Administration bought up Tylenol stock ahead of this announcement. 🤔

I just read a news story about the growing discontent in "the Republican caucus" -- but I read it as "the Republican carcass."

I'm thinking that is actually way more accurate. Henceforth, I shall call the Republican caucus the Republican carcass.

There. Fixed it. 💀

"The Trump administration declined to draw on a contingency fund, saying the money was needed for potential emergencies such as natural disasters."

Let me get this straight. There's a reserve fund that could pay for SNAP.

But starving children don't qualify as an emergency.

How heartless.

Passing through airport security, I said to the TSA agent examining my ID, “I’m sorry about the shutdown.”

Without looking up, he shrugged. “Been through it before.”

I responded, “Thank you for being here.”

At that point, he looked up and said to me, “Thank you. We appreciate the support.”

This a very powerful response.

Excellent job reclaiming a movement we should all be proud to uphold.
Previous generations fought fascism in nearly every corner of the earth. Today it’s on our streets, silencing opposition and attempting to control the airwaves.

The GOP has declared all out war on free speech. It’s up to us to fight for it.

"One of the enduring mysteries about Epstein is why so many rich and powerful men risked their reputations by continuing to spend time with him after he was registered as a sex offender."

The answer will turn your stomach. Shame on JPMorgan.

Go broad first (all Americans), then granular. Harder to tune out.
