Pot on stove containing spaghetti sauce with ground pork gluten-free meatballs, a blue silicone spoon in the pot. The recipe is as follows: Two pounds lean minced meat, such as beef or pork One half cup breadcrumbs, gluten-free work fine Two eggs, beaten One quarter cup finely chopped onion Two cloves garlic, crushed or finely chopped Salt and pepper to taste, optional Combine ground meat, eggs, onion, and garlic, mixing thoroughly, Shape meat mixture into twenty-four two-inch meatballs. Bake meatballs on a rack on broiler pan, or on a parchment-lined baking sheet for thirty minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Meatballs can then be added to two jars of red sauce and cooked for an hour or until time of your choosing. Or eat meatballs sans sauce. Enjoy!

I found this in the Old Testament book of Zechariah last night, verses 7: 8, 9, 10. Pass this on to GOP politicians as a reminder of their faith, as most attest to belief in God. As their sister in Christ, I too will share the prophet's message.

Yip yap #blogpost but is it also a synopsis for my next novel? How much does a synopsis need to resemble a synopsis? How many times can I write synopsis before it becomes irrelevant, lol.📚

Here's my latest quilt #WIP on the wall. Both it and said synopsis are in my post, link in my bio above.
A colorful quilt made from eight and a half inch squares of mostly vibrant fabrics by Anna Maria Parry with a few yellowish tone on tone prints added for stillness. The quilt consists of six squares across, seven squares down and is displayed on a batting-covered section of wall space. The hues range from deep burgundy to bright orange, pinks and corals splashed amid dark blues decorated with white swans in two different sizes. Emerald green squares are enhanced by calm gray and dark charcoal fabrics, livened up by busy flower prints.

A new banner for today's #NoKings protest. Fifty-five by forty-five inches, the hearts are attached by a running stitch. 💗🌈💗Hoping to add more hearts as necessary.

Laid on a carpeted floor is a brightly coloured Alexandria Quilt, an English paper-pieced pattern by Jodi Godfrey. Made from hexagon-based blocks in greens, pinks, yellows, and blues, it's enhanced with other hexagon blocks in vibrant scrappy shades and designs. A large quilt-in-progress, much remains to be sewn. This photo is of the current state of stitching, with loose blocks acting as placeholders for blocks still to be completed.

Six years ago this month I completed the hand sewing on this Cherish #epp #quilt. Pattern is by Jodi Godfrey. When it was finished I gave it to my youngest daughter and her husband as a wedding gift. Recently she told me it's her fave cozy. ☺️

Made a quilt top. Because my shoulder is meh. So I can't do any BELOVED hand sewing. 😭

But uncomplicated 8" squares have their own charm. I used Alison Glass batiks, which AREN'T conducive to EPP. And some RSS prints. And went a few years back in time. Before Kawandi entered my life. ☺️

Such simple, bright beauty in these appliqed Lucy Boston blocks, as well as random scrappiness, lol. As safety pins disappear, wholeness emerges, an unexpected thrill that these blocks are even being used. ☺️💓 But now it's time to feed the chickens, hah!

Heaps left to applique (note all the safety pins, lol), but this is the last 2" hexagon affixed! Now to some EPP for the rest of the evening, other than a quick trip to the chicken run to get everyone into the coop for the night. ☺️

Oh, and we now have chickens. Three Welsummers and five Barnevelders. Nadia and Owl are in the forefront. They aren't sure about what to make of the run, quite wet from over half an inch of rain.
