This headline really pisses me off.

All human made materials, including smelted metals and alloys, fired ceramics, concrete and engineered glass will also endure. The article goes on to list other materials but plastic gets clicks 🙄

So many women, including myself, raised the alarm on the predatory behaviour of PhD students (and staff) at UCL. The only surprising element of this case is that one of them got caught.

Overall people’s trust in science is good however more extreme political bias seems to make people less likely to trust science and there is variation within countries too 🧪

What is the state of trust in scientists around the world? To answer this question, the authors surveyed 71,922 respondents in 68 countries and found that trust in scientists is moderately high.
