The average life expectancy for First Nations people in Canada is 20 to 30 years lower than the non-Indigenous population. Is that not astonishing? Even immigrants from 3rd world countries have increased health & life expectancy.

🇨🇦 I am thinking about Canadian Ambassador Ken Taylor, our lead diplomat in Tehran at the time of the 1979 Iranian revolution. And how he and his wife, at no small risk to themselves, sheltered and hid 6 Americans, for 3 months, who managed to avoid being kidnapped as the US embassy was overwhelmed.
