If I could put a photo describing this year, this would be it. This year has been filled with some great highs but also soul crushing lows. This photo was taken by my friend at the end of a long rotation and shows exhaustion levels at peak rates. It also holds a lot of grief. Did we save a lot?

The heavy sadness that comes with grief is hard to deal with. It hangs on you like stones tied to your shoes and dulls everything around you. But persisting despite this sadness honors the memory of the ones we lost.
