I went to a book launch the other evening and I just wanted to say that it was incredibly scary but so lovely to be around people who also love to write. Do the things that scare you!

Recently been enjoying acting like a total arse on TikTok after trying to be a ✨serious content creator✨ for all of five minutes. Feels good to be a wee freak in public.

Recently been fascinated with the marketing phenomenon of beauty products and food. The psychology behind it is really interesting… anyone else spotted the amount of food used to market non-food products? 🥐💄☕️💫

Too my own advice and now I’m writing a goofy short story because sometimes you have to go back to your roots and write a silly story about creatures of the night doing human things 💫
The most common writing advice I see for new writers is to Just Write, but I think the other foundational advice is to take your time. There is no time limit on creativity and there’s no reason to rush the process. I have never produced anything I’ve been proud of when forcing my own hand.
