@radiofreetom.bsky.social You write in your books so much about the research showing which things short circuit our morality, integrity and rationality and Im wondering if there are things that encourage it? I think it boils down to, how do you convince people to choose the harder path vs the easy?

I honestly did not think that Trump could surprise me anymore...until his press conference today. I was so fucking livid that this piece of absolute shit would make a transparently partisan, ego stroking, and bullshit speech not even a day after the plane crash.

"Flood the zone" is ultimately unsustainable for Trump. Don't chase every outrage. Focus on the big stuff, and keep messaging he's hurting the economy, and American families. They want you screaming about the "Gulf of America" while they cut off SNAP for poor kids.

@radiofreetom.bsky.social Just got done reading 2nd Edition of Death of Expertise. Just a thought, a book with the premise of how an "expert" would go about learning enough about a politician/policy in order to make an informed choice. Not become an expert, just enough to make a truly informedchoice

Six decades later, Star Trek may still be the only franchise based on the ideas that diversity is strength, justice is the measure of civilization, bounty is to be shared, peace is worth the price, and all these things can be achieved.
We need more shows that look ahead and find goodness.
