I've just decided to go through a personal challenge to put together an animated anime action scene as I love to watch and want to make.  The goal is to make it in less than a week! So this is the right opportunity for you to follow along and make yours as well.

𝗔𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗥𝗶𝗡𝗖𝗶𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗦 𝟬𝟭/𝟭𝟮: 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗤𝗨𝗔𝗦𝗛 & 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗧𝗖𝗛 From all the 𝟏𝟐 𝐏𝐑𝐢𝐍𝐂𝐢𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐀𝐍𝐢𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐢𝐎𝐍, to my experience, 𝐒𝐐𝐔𝐀𝐒𝐇 & 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐓𝐂𝐇 is one of the easiest principle to understand and to practice! Also, Science backs it up, because it is simply Physics. Though, since animation is a visual art that needs to impress the eyes of the audience, everything will need a bit of 𝐸𝑋𝐴𝐺𝐺𝐸𝑅𝐴𝑇𝑖𝑂𝑁. For some instances, 𝐒𝐐𝐔𝐀𝐒𝐇 & 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐓𝐂𝐇 will be visually tangible, but most of the time, it has to be subtle otherwise you will get some hilarious images such as the meme from…

Did you know ? 🧐 The 12 Animation Principles were once called "The Illusion Of Life" ? Or was it?.. ► in 1981, Ollie Johnson & Franck Thomas Two Disney Animators launched their book to share with the world their summary of what they learned working on many animation projects from the 1930 onwards.. A book named: THE iLLUSiON OF LiFE. A very insightful book that teaches us how to methodically approach traditional hand drawn animation as it was made at that time. It is funny how everything has evolved since then!
