What needs to happen at Dynamo (among other things) - the whole team is over here doing their usual training and way over there on the other side of the pitch is Eduardo Guerrero practicing one-on-one situations for hours and hours.

Guilty pleasure - I sometimes like going into the replies to some posts on Twitter and muting several dozen bots/morons/twats/bigots/brainwashed idiots.

Watched the full 28-pass sequence before Dani Olmo's goal vs Atletico Madrid and it's funny how similar it is to what Dynamo Kyiv is trying to do, the difference being that Barca players are actually good enough to pull it off. I counted at least 9 passes that Dynamo would fail.

You know, Sport Club Poltava should establish some sort of foundation. But "Sport Club Poltava Foundation" is a mouthful, so how about something easier to pronounce, like SCP Foundation.

This is truly a historic season for Dynamo when it comes to domestic league performance:
- got 5 consecutive draws like in 1968
- got 4 consecutive losses like in 1953, 1957, and 1987
- another loss would put them on track for a repeat of 1948 when they lost 6 in a row

So should Dynamo just change managers every year now and rely purely on the new manager bounce? Because that seems to be the only thing that works for them.

In a normal football club, you could take your foot off the pedal, see out the remainder of the season without focusing on the result, and rebuild the next season. Dynamo Kyiv is not a normal club and a rebuild is impossible, partly because of the war, partly because of Surkis.

Last time Dynamo lost 3 domestic league games in a row was in 1990-1991 when they lost the last 2 games of the 1990 season and the 1st game of the 1991 season. If you're looking for consecutive losses in one season, you need to go back to 1987, when Dynamo lost 4 in a row.

Things are obviously not going according to plan for Dynamo. However, I don't think sacking Shovkovskyi would do anything. Firstly, I'm against the idea of sacking a manager after one bad streak, no matter how bad it is. Secondly, a new manager would still have the same players.

Where's Besedin at? We need him to make another sacrifice.

I will laugh my ass off if we get drawn against North Macedonia and lose to them

Playing FM 26; Dynamo - Chelsea in the UCL; conceded twice in the 1st half; game pauses itself right before the HT whistle and the resume button bugs out so I can't continue; Alt+F4, restart; somehow end up winning 1-0 courtesy of an 88th-minute goal by Guerrero. I'll take it.

As the second half kicks off, I'm ready for Rebrov's Ukraine team to do what Rebrov's Ukraine team does best - disappoint

Ukraine in the France game

After a closer look at the new Ukraine NT kits I gotta say, the brighter sleeves look so weird combined with the darker patterned front and back. It's like somebody sewed together two different shirts.

So I'm looking at the next UPL games for Dynamo and I think we can easily stretch this draw streak to at least 9 games with draws against Kryvbas, Shakhtar, LNZ, and Kolos. Then it's SC Poltava, which we'll probably win.

I don't like making predictions but I totally see us losing to France, Iceland beating Azerbaijan to squeeze into 2nd place on goal difference, and then us drawing against Iceland in the last fixture after being in the lead during the match.

I'll take another title in a season where the only reason Dynamo have won it is because the other teams fucked up even more than Dynamo did somehow
October 6, 2025 at 2:50 PM
For some reason Guerrero is exceptionally bad at scoring in one-on-one situations. I think he's had like 5 opportunities this season already and hasn't converted a single one of them.

Dynamo's 0-2 loss to Crystal Palace reminds me of Ukraine's 0-2 loss to England back when Rotan managed the team. Did a miracle happen? No. Did the players do anything to help a miracle happen? No. Did they do anything they should be ashamed of? Besides Brazhko tonight, no.

Last season the only difference between Dynamo playing regularly and Dynamo going defensive was that in the first case, we got destroyed with shots on goal of our own while in the second case, we got destroyed without shots on goal of our own.
October 2, 2025 at 4:25 PM
It's still too early to say for certain but looking at the way Blanuta is playing, I can't help but feel like Dynamo's glorious scouting department has netted us a new Besedin.
September 30, 2025 at 2:43 PM
Dynamo facing Shakhtar in the Ukrainian Cup R16 means Dynamo will probably not win the Cup this season because the last time Dynamo beat Shakhtar was on April 17, 2021 with the likes of Tsygankov, Zabarnyi, Mykolenko, de Pena, and more in the squad.
September 28, 2025 at 6:32 PM
Dynamo's draws vs Oleksandriya and Karpaty - on the one hand, it's only two games, on the other hand, every UPL championship is ultimately decided by points picked up or dropped in games like these and not by the head-to-head Dynamo - Shakhtar fixtures.
