I got into anime during like the Ghost in the Shell, Cowboy Bebop days. I am also a fan of the Ghibli movies.
I've watched all the Toonami shows, and stuff on different streaming services here and there.

So my era of cartoons as a kid were Thundercats, He Man, Transformers, GI Joe, and Ninja Turtles.
I've heard some of those count as anime but they were just normal cartoons in my mind
