Republicans in Congress should stop raising our costs. They need to make the health care tax credits permanent, stop their cuts to food assistance, and lower energy costs.
It's not what they say but how they vote. 👇 #NE02 #NE01
Reps. Don Bacon and Mike Flood voted for harmful cuts that are raising costs for hardworking Nebraskans at the worst possible time. We need our representatives making life more affordable for everyone. #DefendingTheGoodLife #NE01 #NE02

Prices are skyrocketing and many will confront sticker shock when they log in. Small business owners, farmers and those that cannot afford employer health plans all use the marketplace to access insurance. From today's @OWHnews 👇

The administration could choose to use contingency funds to fund SNAP through November but they have chosen cruelty. Taking food from kids, seniors and veterans instead of doing their job. Shameful. #NE02 #NE01 #NESen #FeedTheKids

Quick: The Rep Tax Law that passed this summer extended the 2017 tax law that was set to expire 12/31/25. They made tax breaks to billionaires permanent and tax breaks to a small group of peeps expire in 2 years.
Fix healthcare.

Congressman Bacon and Flood voted for a law that cuts food access to veterans, seniors and kids aging out of foster care. $30 million is lost to our communities and it adds a cost of $17 million in administrative costs.

This part! 👇
I feel like a broken record, but I have to keep saying it over and over again: a farmer bailout won’t do much of anything because the market is gone. There will be no incentive to plant next year.

The bailout will help payoff farmer debt to the banks. That’s all.
