You are safer in a bathroom with a trans woman than in a pup tent with a youth pastor.

Trying again to have dental work done on our Ginger Menace. This time he's medicated for his arrival. Poor guy is all floppy and confused.

I didn't ask for Christianity spam with my fried chicken. Ugh.

Hilary Barry being naughty with cucumbers was inevitable, really.
She's the best.

Little bugger was too scared/stressed to go under anesthetic. So he's coming home, slightly sedated, and we'll try again next week. 💸💸 Love that for us.
Our handsome boy has to have some of his teeth out tomorrow.. Feeling very nervous for him!
He loves his food so hoping his recovery is fast and easy.

Off to see Wicked tonight!
With my tradie partner still in his hi vis!
Who doesn't know it's a musical!
Or that it's 2 hours 40 minutes long!

I like that Tawhirimatea is giving just enough breeze to lift all the flags up.

Okay I'm transitioning to Bluesky since my Twitter feed is being useless.

Wellington City is humming with shoppers this morning! Was lovely and quiet when I came in early, but all the people laden with bags is my cue to leave and head to the beach.

There's something scary about phoning places like the NZ Parole Board.

Just another part of the trauma that goes along with being the victim of a major crime.
Trying to engage with the parole process while still being scarred by the trial and sentencing is HARD.

But has to be done.

So today's coalition updates tell me that Chris Bishop is unable to wash dry and iron his own shirts while staying in another city.
How do people this incompetent get into positions of power?

Is it a pointless task to use the Wellington City council's Fixit app to report every time it stinks of piss outside the St James on Courtney place?
Today is especially pungent but I did a report for the same thing last week.

Maybe it could just be hosed down daily?

Any NZ news podcasts that release daily morning episodes with brief overviews of current events?

Was using newsable but it's too rugby/sports focused and I've hit my limit for sportsball content.

Awww, Matthew Perry aka Chandler Bing has died.

I'm glad they got to do the big Friends reunion show before he died. RIP Chanandler Bong.

I've found the mute lists option, but is there a way to mute particular words on blue sky?

Like for example, rugby?

Been seeing some unusual behaviour in my VERY quiet street lately. People lurking & looking like they're up to something.

Had a suspicion, so downloaded the Geocaching app. Sure enough, there's one over the road.
So I guess I have to go find out what's in the box.
(Gwyneth Paltrow's head probably)

Love it when the lighting is just right to be able to capture miss Kitty. 🥰
She's claimed another grocery bag, so it'll have to live in the lounge until she's done with it.

You'd think a classic denim jacket would be a thing you could walk in and buy in a mall any time, anywhere.

Not if you're shopping for a size 18 apparently!

The only options in Queensgate are at K&K, they're all just not quite "classic". (Who wants little flowers embroidered on everything? 🤮)

Rain and wind in Wellington = everyone forgets how to drive and traffic backs up for miles.
I'm glad I've got such a flexible job.

Chr*s B*shop just walked past me on Tory St.
How very apt.

I didn't kick him in the shins so well done me!
