My method of assessing new productivity tools:
1. Does it do what I want?
2. Can I play with it for long enough to put off doing the work related thing I need to do?
Unrelated to this... Does anyone know of a good seating plan tool? #edtech #EduSky

Earlier this year I was lucky to receive lots of Lego coding equipment from the institute of physics as part of a grant scheme. Once I can get the software working on Chromebooks, it could be a great bridge between Beebots and Crumbles!

I'm just going to share a little bit of love for @diffitapp.bsky.social . In the sea of AI, it saves so much time planning the little fiddly bits of reading lessons meaning I can focus more on the deeper stuff

I never expected Timmy Mallet to be as much of an inspiration to me at 36 as he was when I was 5, but his cycling videos are one of the very few things keeping me on Facebook

Book people... I'm looking for computing themed books that could be used within whole class reading sessions in KS1 and KS2. I've got the little people big lives ones but any other ideas would be gratefully received!
