I’m done with X, so let’s give this a go! Good morning Bluesky!
School of thought that reasonably says EoLC pts shouldn’t present to ambo services if care is already in place. However, I wonder if that sufficiently takes into the actions and reactions of family & careers who simply want timely assistance. We need to be ready to manage these calls appropriately.

This is extremely worrying. I see a growing vaccine apathy, even amongst healthcare workers and the nonsense from the US isn’t helping. When will people waken up to both the necessity and obligations to protect us all.
The spike in flu is piling pressure on the NHS two-three weeks earlier than wards usually begin to fill up. My piece online now @thetimes.com

The traditional model of sending an ambulance to see if we need to send an ambulance is both unsustainable and not clinically effective. This is a significant milestone in our modernisation journey. ambulance.nhs.wales/news/nhs/202...

Your periodic reminder that vaccines have been around for over 200 years.

They aren't new.

Their effectiveness is undeniable.

Don't believe me? Go walk in any old cemetery and look at all the graves of children <5.

Our babies used to die.

All. The. Time.

Now they don't.
