It seems odd to me that a Labour government should be be squeezing their potential core voters.
The Government is raising taxes on median earners (and low earners) by continuing the Tory freeze on tax thresholds. Such people should be paying less, not more tax!
Raising taxes on median earners would not only be a 'tough choice,' it would be an extremely bad one.

I think this is quite correct: what I hear on the street is "why can't the politicians work to solve our problems: not just fight each other". Hopefully a more proportionate voting system would help. MakeVotesMatter.

one option some elder people with money are doing is going to live in care villages in Thailand or Philippines. Their £ buys them better care and nicer weather. I don’t think it is a mass solution, but it needs to be considered. Rwanda might take OAPs for £: not sure how many would go,.
