I was back in Cambridgeshire last weekend to visit my dad and had a walk round the village I grew up in and took a few shots. Here are some of them. It really has changed so much from when I was last here 10 years ago.

Went to Matlock Bath with my camera club on Monday and here are a few of the shots I took under the theme Street Photography

On Monday evening we at Ockbrook Photography Club had an outing to Jubilee Campus at Uni of Nottingham. I had set myself a challenge of only shooting in black and white. Great night had by all.

I went for a early morning walk with my camera around Shardlow, Derbyshire (UK). Here are a few of the shots I got.

I managed to get one of my kittens to stay still long enough to get this low key shot of her. #lowkeyphotography

I managed to get to Cromford Station in Derbyshire where the cover artwork for Oasis single Some Might Say was taken. Sadly you can’t get onto the other platform as it’s now private property but managed to get these as close to the original as I could

I had some friends come visit (also amateur photographers) so took them to Shardlow for the afternoon. Managed to get some great shots in-between rain showers. We were even treated to a family of swans on the towpath. #photograph

Here are some shots from a 1940's historical society weekend at Wirksworth, Derbyshire in June of this year. There was a restored steam train that ran from Duffield to Wirksworth and I was lucky enough to ride it (even getting to sit in the break van on the way back) #photography
