Tik Tok feels like just a distraction for the real spying on American citizens. I don’t know if BlueSky is the answer, but for me it is the start of trying to break free from this bullshit.

Initially it just seemed to be businesses interested in steering advertising to us, but with Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg kissing Trump’s ass it will not stay confined to advertising. Everyone freaked about about Tik Tok and China spying while we are constantly monitored by American companies.

When I have a conversation near my phone and then start getting ads for what I was talking about, then you know you are in a Big Brother country.

I don’t know how things are going to evolve or devolve, but social media right now is imploding. Facebook, X, Instagram…. Are just tools to divide and spy on is.
