Both are important but when sharing stories with our families we need to focus on the latter. Stories get people in.
What most genealogists obsess over:
• Exact dates and spellings
• Citation formats

What readers of genealogy want to know:
• What and who they loved
• What people’s lives were like
• How they overcame challenges
