Lo scoprii in vinile alle medie, più di quindici anni fa. Continuo ad ascoltarlo ancora oggi con lo stesso entusiasmo. Lo ritengo il miglior album dei Pink Floyd nel suo complesso e non ho ancora cambiato idea al riguardo. Lo riascoltavo giusto un'ora fa: che meraviglia.

Vi immaginate un futuro in cui ci saranno comunità che, più che darsi al luddismo, opteranno per scelte radicali anti IA, come per esempio non leggere più libri scritti prima del 2023?

Nel 2024 il Premio Akutagawa è stato vinto da un romanzo scritto in piccola parte con ChatGPT. Non è un caso isolato: gli LLM sono entrati nei libri e non tutti ne colgono le implicazioni profonde.

I've been listening to excerpts from Black Sabbath's final concert for days. My mind wanders back to it throughout the day. Today I saw the entire final performance, with the full band, and there were moments that gave me goosebumps and moments that were inevitably moving. -

I have the feeling that most people live either believing that life has no meaning or more or less consciously avoiding the question altogether. Now, I don’t know why this makes me uncomfortable, since it shouldn’t really concern me. -

My rule of thumb with new book releases is: let the hype for something build and explode; observe, letting months (or years) pass; then if you're really convinced and what you read around is encouraging, read it.
