I paid a visit to the Lady Lever Art Gallery in Port Sunlight, once part of Cheshire. The gallery is home to many beautiful artworks including the Scapegoat painted by William Holman Hunt in 1856 #ladyleverartgallery #portsunlight #thescapegoat #williamholmanhunt #111places #Merseyside #cheshire

Not happy with the blazing BBC weather persons. “Sunny intervals” they said. It’s been about -5C and I’ve not seen a sunny interval all fecking day! Just that little tent of blue above Manchester Cathedral. Ah, well! The sun shines on the righteous, I guess.

I have to confess I was thrilled to find this place. Don’t judge me. As with all outdoor activities there are risks involved. Good equipment and plenty of experience helps to mitigate these risks. #becarefuloutthere❤️ #eryri #gwynedd #parccenedlaetholeryri #cymru #snowdonia #wales

The Middlewood Way is a lovely 10-mile (16 km) shared-use trail in northwest England, stretching from Rose Hill, Marple to Macclesfield. It traces the old Macclesfield, Bollington & Marple Railway (1869–1970) and was converted into a greenway in 1985

Such a beautiful evening I went for a bit of a bike ride. Discovered a sneaky path across the old Woodford Aérodrome and got a close up look at this beautiful piece of kit.
