Happy Birthday Rob Zombie. Working on “Haddonfield”, one of my biggest realizations was how much people who worked with Rob, loved him. One of the only people that nobody said a bad word about. He protected his cast & crew, fought for them & cultivated a family like feeling on set.

Jack used his Christmas money to buy a new Jason figure. He’s at an age where he hates when I take his picture but this boy owns my heart. He has a spectacular collection of horror action figures (and great musical taste for an 11 year old).

My next book will be a combination of essays & interviews- just like “Horror in Haddonfield”. A little more essay heavy for Book 2. Aiming to have worked wrapped in 12 months & publish in the spring of 2027.

The first thing I thought of when I saw this was how kind to me Phil was when I contacted him about my book. He didn’t know me, but he was supportive. The internet is full of vitriol but in my experience, Phil is one of the good guys.

This New Year’s Eve, I find myself overwhelmingly grateful for the people who supported my first book, “Horror in Haddonfield”. I also find myself nervous about my recent Graves Disease diagnosis & what the future holds. Life goes on & O have another book to write. Thanks for sticking with me.

I haven’t been on this app much lately. Cards on the table, I’ve been in and out of the hospital. Friday, after 12 more hours in the hospital, I finally got a diagnosis & a treatment plan. Drs say my heart rate, blood pressure & dizziness should be better soon.
