In a parallel universe, all major conference submission deadlines would fall in the Northern Hemisphere summer and I'd be peppering my co-authors' etc with last minute, overnight requests in the midst of their vacations...

I'm curious as to whether this is a distinctly Australian experience. We've mimicked the US considerably in terms of SUV takeup, but we can't be the only one (especially as NO vehicles are produced down here): theconversation.com/where-did-th... (and for non-Aussies, utes are car-like pickup trucks)
