I was struck that the Trump Doctrine is just a continuous refrain of “guy checking out other girl” meme consisting of the last two people that talked to him.

I did a shuffle play of all my liked songs and it was a wild rollercoaster ride of genres.

That is super cool looking, but I am such a weight weenie that I’d worry about those extra grams…before and after a chow down on a double cheeseburger.

Blink 182 was my guilty pleasure when they first dropped. Now that I’m older, I’ve moved so far beyond shitting on pop punk (or any genre) but damn they were so catchy

At least we haven’t gone down the 3rd amendment violation path.

If they aren’t in favor of equal rights for everyone or, worse, willing to sacrifice a small group for political advantage, they’re just a face eating leopard in a different spotted coat

LLMs are spam generators. That is all.

They're designed to generate plausibly human-like text well enough to pass a generic Turing Test. That's why people believe they're "intelligent".

But really, all they are is spam generators.

We have hit the spamularity.

Gavin Newsom is a slick-talking rich transphobic cop-loving dishonest opportunist. He takes his marching orders from billionaires.

Newsom is a phony. I think most Americans can see right through him.

I don't think he stands a chance in the general. He's Joe Lieberman with better hair.

I really appreciate that he has no values that he is willing to stand behind. Nothing draws my support like bending in whatever way the political winds are blowing from minute to minute

I don’t know what the venn diagram for people listening to dream, indie, punk, watching MTB videos and people into products heavily featuring “tactical”, but youtube is pretty sure I’m in the extremely small area of overlap.

I bounced around a ton, mostly in the south, and it was a bit of a culture shock. One thing I’ll say about New England is that people are usually nice. Not polite, but genuinely nice. Back home, people will screw you over, but say please and thank you while doing it.
