Tom Rothenberg, the great Berkeley econometrician who passed away this week, had the gift of clarity and vision. I always liked and learned a lot from his 1973 Cowles Monograph 23, which brought together his ideas on identification, simultaneous equations, and Bayesian econometrics. Rest in peace.
