So ... with this is mind (& consider incldg the G7), what expectations do we have of mission movements from countries financially? What kinds of churches are sending in mission in terms of income? How does this impact our financial requirements and expectations in terms of contributions?

“Sometimes it's easy to forget that we spend most of our time stumbling around the dark. Suddenly, a light gets turned on and there's a fair share of blame to go around." - Marty Baron, Spotlight

Psalm 139:1-3,5,7 NIV

"Colonisation has impacted the mission output of both. In the case of the descendants of colonisers, mission continues to be largely rooted in different forms of power. For the colonised, they continue to some extent mirror Western models of mission paradigms and attitudes with all its flaws"
Decolonising mission: Jesus’s decolonial ethic of God’s Kingdom

Too valuable to lose ... consider what was and has been lost and will continue to lose. Counting the cost also means acknowledging, Sayang. Sayang talaga. Hindi kinailangan magkaganito.

The part where 15% of finances is mandatorily taken for services. 40% of that 15% goes to an international controlling body. Those of the poorer nations giving to support the structures created by and for the rich. #decolonisation you say? Render to caesar what is his maybe.

Colossians 1:15-17 NIV
The Son is the image of the invisible God... For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him... in him all things hold together.
