Another beautiful day for walking (5°c) and a big, blue sky. Hard to believe it’s November 22nd already! We’ve had very little snow so far, and that keeps melting with the warmer weather we’ve had.

The sunny, blue sky was a bit deceiving today as cold weather returned. Even this ring-billed gull seemed disappointed to see the ice back on the pond after our recent warmer November weather.

Warm (‘er’ 5˚c 😁) weather is back today, so a fair bit of our first snowfall, and pond ice is melting. No wind again today, so a beautiful walk.

We've had a fair amount of rain and grey cloudy days lately, so it was wonderful to enjoy a walk in the sun today 😊

Took these photos yesterday of a large group of sandhill cranes heading south to warmer places. I would not have even noticed them against the clouds if I hadn’t heard them first 🎶

😂 It was very windy today, and it swept up the leaves along the fence of some tall townhouses into interesting long rows… which Louie did not seem to like! He stopped, had a long look… then made a wide berth around them 😂
