Really loved this film. I’d like to tie anyone who glorifies war to a chair and make them watch it.
Terence Davies’ last film ‘Benediction’ (2022) about Siegfried Sassoon is on BBC iPlayer. Utterly beautiful. #SiegfriedSassoon #TerenceDavies

I'm delighted to have edited the first publication for a new press. "Poems Beautiful and Useful" is a pamphlet of verse from the 16th and 17th century -- a taste of the kind of thing that was most read at the time, some in print for the first time. www.headlesspoet.com/shop/p/poems...

Regardless of his faults. I don’t get why Starmer is to blame because he was lied to.

Today in my class we watched Vicuña’s Que es para usted la poesía? and then tried it ourselves. I went outside and asked the first person I saw, a builder doing construction on campus. He told me he was a stonemason and that when he gets the brickwork just right, that’s poetry to him. A+ all around

#Februllage Day 3. Today’s prompt is #ballet. In this #collage I’ve used stems of dog rose, snippets of borage & leaves from a vigorous climbing plant (name unknown to me). I’ve used scissors to cut things to my required shape (to suggest a leaping ballerina) and arranged them on my page.
