Last week, I titled my article on Zelenskyy "The Uncomfortable President." He is indeed uncomfortable for both Putin and Trump. Both countries are doing everything they can, one way or another, to remove Zelenskyy from the path of their rapprochement. It is extremely dangerous.

A horrific night in Kyiv. A missile struck a residential building directly. At least 10 people were killed, including a child. Russia continues to kill sleeping people. Hundreds of civilian infrastructure facilities have been damaged. Russia shows no intention of stopping its war.

Leider konnte ich heute nicht an der Trauerfeier für unsere Kollegin Victoria Roshchyna teilnehmen. Doch ich habe ihr Andenken gewürdigt, so gut ich konnte, indem ich erneut über ihr Schicksal und das grausame Verbrechen geschrieben habe, das Russland an ihr begangen hat.

With the rescue efforts now concluded, it has become clear that the Russian terror attack on an apartment building in Kyiv's Sviatoshynskyi district on 31 July, which killed 31 people and injured 179, is the second deadliest Russian war crime in Kyiv since the start of the full-scale invasion.
Each new deadly strike on Kyiv's Sviatoshyn district is getting closer to our apartment. Today, a missile destroyed a building just 700m away. Previous strikes were ~1km away.
