If we are to fight the division and oppression within our cultures we must get rid of the segregation within our own language. Pronouns highlight how people are different from each other, I think they should highlight how we are all the same.

If we are to fight the division and oppression within our cultures we must get rid of the segregation within our own language. Pronouns highlight how people are different from each other, I think they should highlight how we are all the same.

I think that sexualising someone without their consent is something that probably needs to be fought against a lot more than it currently is on the internet. ofc there are obvious places like Reddit where anytime something is posted with a woman in it there are comments sexualising them.

pronouns being tied to gender is an issue - it forced everyone to identify with a gender identity. And this identity is made to be the most important part of them as you cannot refer to someone with referencing his/her/their/etc gender

Language dynamics in our oppressive culture do not reflect values consistent with anarchism and I think the way anarchists (or those who seek liberation/solidarity) interact with other languages needs to change a bit

most people's views of gender and sex are far more consistent with believing in young earth creationism/the idea humans popped into exist via a god than they are with evolution

Hierarchical systems enable aggressive relationships of exploitation, domination, control, etc. due these systems ability to keep those at the top of the hierarchies away from attempts of accountability made by those at the bottom.

I have come to view the main aspect of power (or authority) being the inability to be held accountable - like i view this as the primary aspect of power/authority
and i feel this conceptualisation is better than hierarchy as an understanding of oppression

I think it is inconsistent for anarchists living in settler colonies to not learn the language of indigenous people who they share community with. It lacks solidarity and not doing so does not get rid of white-supremacy/cultural supremacy via means ends unity
