Wanting to grow a fig tree. Both as an edible privacy screen and because I've never eaten a fresh one before.

Love my large maple, for the abundance of free leaf mulch. Ladybugs can over winter in it. And it also smothers out leftover grass my chickens have missed earlier.

2 of my hens are laying at the same time. They are having trouble laying, cause 1 would follow the other inside & outside the coop (it has 4 nesting boxes).
So I had to stand there and keep them separated.

Lol Random fact. Freshly laid chicken eggs make really good hand warmers 😂. Put one in my pocket, now my hand's all nice and toasty.
Now, I just need a hen to lay one more egg in the morning, and then I'll be set for the cold mornings. 😆

My camo pear! A singleton! This is what happens when you have a tree grafted with 4 different varieties blooming at 4 different times.
Didn't even know it was done ripening until now. 😂 Now, it's bon appetit!

Ran out of blueberries. Went to a u-pick berries location with the family. So happy to be able to harvest local organic blueberries ❤️ Now I need to process them all. Half to the freezer, half to muffins 🤤

Will need to board the bottom of my fence so accidents like this won't happen again.

😞 Was trellising a Native Creeping Pacific Blackberry, it was wild growing directly under my fence, and my neighbor's landscapers weed wacked it.

I relocated its new home to my compost pile. I made sure it's flower home was out of the sun.
