I’m making red pozole with chicken and chicken and dumplings this weekend. It’s not cold yet but this mom loves soups and mid 80’s is close enough to cool for me.

I painted these three at a “ceramic” shop when I was going to AA and needed to do something other than drink years ago. So I fell off the wagon recently so to speak and so I want to go paint something again.
These three are versions of my alive kitties and drive me bonkers but gosh I love them.

I went to church and sang in the choir today. The first time since the election. I was refusing to go because I truly was deeply troubled and very pissed off we had to endure donald again.

Every time I see this blue butterfly and see Bluesky I break out into a Willie Nelson song “blue skies, smiling at me, nothing but blue skies, do I see” and it make me very happy.

I’m sad Jimmy Carter died. I’m happy he is away from the noise and politics of our world. He was too good and kind for this world. And for most of us.
He is the first president I remember really and so much better and kinder and loving than most.
