I like to take my family on vacations but I wonder about people who are booking business class seats for their whole family. Like ya’ll really out here paying $6000 PER PERSON for your metal tube in the sky? Like, my entire trip budget isn’t that much.

I’m turning 50 next month and I’ve gone my whole life being able to see without needing corrective lenses so I feel betrayed by my eyes that I need readers. Like, I can still see regular stuff why you gotta do me this way eyes?

Made a controversial post on Threads wherein I suggested parents of young adults should put in effort into maintaining relationships with their kids and wow people are big mad about that.

I don’t understand the current outrage about Trump posting the racist pic of the Obamas. He’s always been racist and he’s always hated the Obamas. Like, who is surprised by this? This is typical Trump behavior and if you didn’t know, tell me what rock you’ve been living under so I can vacation there

Planning international travel this summer so queue me checking our passports 1,000 times between now and May to make sure they haven’t expired. Because clearly the expiration date could change between now and then.

“New Epstein files release…” doesn’t matter. There is literally nothing that could be in them that would make him lose a follower. Nothing. Imagine the most heinous gross allegation. Wouldn’t matter to them. They’d like him more because of it.

Every time I see posts about protests & activism I can’t get myself to muster any enthusiasm. One year in and all I can think is- this is what America wanted. This is what they voted for. Anyone claiming they didn’t know it would be like this is lying.

On Threads recently I asked GenXers which items they got whipped with as a kid (mine was a belt) and in light of the responses, it’s kind of shocking how Boomers are so mystified that we aren’t seeing deeper relationships with them.

There many reasons I hate the movie Love Actually but one of them is how they spend the whole movie calling a woman who isn’t fat fat. And as a person who has spent much of my adult life fat, this is such harmful rhetoric. This is why people end up in therapy and with eating disorders.
