This has taken me an embarrassing amount of attempts & 16 bloody days!!! Must have frogged 🐸 3 or 4 times as well has having to put a few lifelines in & rip back due to mistakes. Thought it would be easy!! But anyway, tube socks 🧦 halfway made, one more to go!! #knitting #sockknitting #knitsky

Okkkkk my second pair of socks is finished 🧦 My tension is a bit looser on the second sock (right), because I put it down & picked it up a lot more than the first sock. Not entirely happy but could be worse. Would blocking help? I don't have sock blockers #knitting #knitsky #sockknitting

I ended up adding an extra stitch to this sock so I tried a decrease but should have known better that it doesn't work like that 😂 So I managed to put a lifeline in & ripped back a few rows. Thankfully didn't lose any stitches. I ❤️ YouTube, a lesson for everything! #knitting #knitsky #sockknitting

Love how this yarn is working up and I feel like my technique has improved since my first pair of socks. I think I'd like to try knitting my next pair with 9" circular needles although the yarn shop lady said they're awkward to hold - any thoughts? #knitting #knitsky
One completed stripey sock and one sock still on the needles, around 1/3 knitted. The yarn is pink, blue, yellow and orange and knits up in irregular stripes.

I finished crocheting an Elise Shawl yesterday so today I've had a go at blocking it. I think I've done it right?? I had to pin it to a couple of towels on the floor as I don't have blocking boards. Fingers crossed pls!

This is the first blanket I made after learning to crochet. I think it's 144 squares and took me 9 weeks. I was so proud!! I finished it in Nov 2013.

I bought this 400g ball of yarn years ago & have lost the band. I think it's 25% wool & Aran / Worsted weight. Would this be enough for a beginner knitted jumper? If not, what could I do with this amount? I'd like to use it up by knitting something if poss, rather than crochet

I've jumped straight into my next pair of socks 🧦 this time using Hobbycraft's Perfect Pair yarn 🧶. I'm still using the Vanilla Sock pattern by the Crazy Sock Lady, but this time I'm doing a 2x2 ribbed cuff instead of 1x1. Love these colours!

Day 24 & I've finished my socks! Hooray! 🥳😍🧶🧦🤩🎉 I'm so happy! Sock 1 took me 16 days & sock 2 took me 8 days. I've learnt loads & can't wait to make more and improve!

Day 19 of my first socks 🧦 & I've just finished the cuff of no.2. It has taken me 3 days to do this, I had to 🐸 a couple of times due to dropping stitches, the work falling off the needles, accidentally turning it inside out & not being able to correct it 🙃 but less laddering so onwards & upwards!!

Last night was day 16 of sock knitting and I finished my first sock!! 🧦🥳😍🧶💕 Hooray!! It's huge 😂 but I'm so happy! I've cast on the second sock and I'm hopeful it won't take me two weeks this time 😁 They'll make perfect slouchy socks.
