Finished the last of the catachan infantry squad and command squad, so now the army is up to 250 points!
Should be enough infantry to make a good start to a guard army, next month I'll change to get some armour to support them!

Finished up the second squad of Catachans for the lava guard regiment.
Up to two squads complete now and a whopping 120 points of painted guard!
Due to my mass batch painting though, the next 130 points should only be days from completion!

Still painting up that massive Catachan batch. I've had to split up the batch a little as i've got 2 different skin tones to paint synthetic Caucasian half are now done.
After that it's just eyes, then camo patterns on cloth and they're done!

More work on the Hades IX 3rd Regiment 1st infantry platoon.
All the basecoats are down so we're in highlight town! Orange vests are done and I'm starting on the red weapons next.
I love seeing these come together. The Lt is especially standing out with his bright armour!

Does anyone knoww what tank this is/is meant to be?
As far as I can tell it's some deathguard conversion? But I don't know my horus heresy and marine tanks that well, especially as its come from a source known to have forgeworld bits.

Continued work on the Emporer's finest. Brown boots and bags, along with a coat of black for trousers and jackets.
Batch painting this large a group is strangely therapeutic, I only manage one colour a session, but it really feels like the army is marching to completion.

My mojo is back and with it I've started on the next Idoneth unit.

I think I've painted more in the last 3 days than in the prior 3 weeks! Feels good to make some solid progress!
And with tonight, the eels are done!
The eels, clearly the horses of the sea, are ready to carry the *nearly* normal elves on top to battle.

I've been knocked on my ass by this flu in the UK, so tonight was the first night I had a decent painting session in a while.
Finished painting the amour and skin of the eel riders tonight, still need to do red and blue bits before attaching to mounts and a final detail pass.

Wow 12 days since my last update!
Eell the point of hobbystreak is some progress is better than no progress.

Ive finished the basecoats for the eels, bar a couple of tiny bits.
Decided to focus on just one eel to get a bit of a scheme done. So eel 1 has had its main skin, reds and blues highlighted.

The last 3 namarti thralls are painted. Finally finishing the unit, they definitely look good together.
Onward to the next unit. The eels are getting their bases done, sand was done first, and now the start to the seaweed 'flying stands'

Not much in the way of updates as I've been mostly fixing some old minis and stripping some things ready for new-year new-army.
