Has anyone created/found a "this is how to do" on your casio graphical calculator for Aqa A level maths for students that wouldn't mind sharing before I start thinking about creating one? @ecrmaths.bsky.social @mathsjem.bsky.social

Looks fab. Thank you for sharing

Thanks @ecrmaths.bsky.social . I think we're concerned that they are just 'getting the homework done' via whatever means that maybe without thinking and asking for help.

Anyone got any bright ideas about tackling AI use at A level. Issues around homework in particular. Thank you @ecrmaths.bsky.social @mathsjem.bsky.social @drbennison.bsky.social

Did you know I've been working on A-level content? I've managed to cover all of year 1 statistics now including in depth videos (a little over 6 hours worth), exam questions and solutions on each topic (117 full exam questions in total). All free, of course.

Lucy Bronze on how she decided to blast her penalty down the middle (and score).

“Statistically it’s risky for the goal keeper to stand still… so yeah, I love maths”.

Anyone got any good y12 maths end of term/year activities they wouldn’t mind sharing or pointing me in the direction of. My brain is mush with this heat 🙈. Thanks in advance

My exam board was WJEC sadly

My exam board was WJEC, I can find them from 2001 but nothing from 1999 and 2000. Typical 🙄

I think it needs to be a student centred approach though....what's the best way for the student to learn x, y and z, rather than what's best/easier for me as a teacher. That's why it takes (me anyway) so long to plan y7 lessons I think

I would rather 1 guaranteed non contact every day. A whole day of non contact at home would probably equate to 2 hours of work at most (too many distractions at home)

Slightly random, feeling a bit nostalgic and wondered if anyone can help. i sat my A level maths in 1999 and 2000 and wondered if anyone knew where to get hold of these papers? Googled them but no joy (I’m obviously too old 🙈). Have emailed the exam board but thought I’d ask here too #alelvelmaths

Ours seemed very happy with too Should I be worried that that's 3 'nice' papers though 🙈 or am I overthinking as usual 😅

They told me that when I phoned them a few months ago. You'd have thought they would sort the filtering etc before though 🙈🙄

Might have to send an email too. Had to call them a few months ago because I couldn’t find something on there.
