Hey there! I'm Sam! I've been creating music for 15 years now, starting with the humble Mega Drive and moving up to full production in the years since. I've also been sim racing since I was little, and create liveries for myself and the teams I race for.

Here's some of my music!

I got up to speed a lot easier with Tux as you just input fret numbers with the correct subdivisions, but the problem really comes long term if you ever want printed score, where MuseScore obviously excels in

I've used TuxGuitar for a long time as forking out the money for Guitar Pro just isn't worth it imo, but, MuseScore has some good tablature engraving now as far as I'm aware, just that it isn't as specialised as TuxGuitar

on the upside, i reshelled my GBA SP and it looks pretty snazzy, happy with how it's turned out although it was a Pain with all the micro parts and the hinges. my god the hinges. but it's done.

do i think we should diversify the means of online communication that we use rather than concentrating into one thing and creating a single point of failure? yes, of course

however the idea that teamspeak won't suddenly make the same requirements to login is, frankly, insane

australia has already done it, other countries in europe have just passed laws very similar to the OSA in the UK, with state laws coming to the US

and your takeaway is "we need to go back to forums"

brother do i have a bridge to sell you

it is really funny how [gestures broadly at outrage over discord] leads to "cancel your nitro" or "we need to find something else to use"

guys

social media bans for under 16s are coming. i don't like it either! but the next thing you run away to use will have the exact same problem!

ranking the f1 2026 liveries so far
February 9, 2026 at 4:01 PM
If it were just the left side I'd think of it as a nice, safe, boring, corporate but pleasant livery

What in the name of fuck is the right side and attempt to tie it together with that gradient on the nose ew

Man that Cadillac livery is uh

Well it's a fitting livery for where they'll be, huh

Pandora's box is open and we're all aware of it, so may as well pour into it so that well meaning people can learn from it I think
February 5, 2026 at 9:41 PM
I said this elsewhere in a Discord server but I'm considering just posting stems along with releases at this point

For one, the educative factor is nice to be like "hey this is how the song works" but the second more pressing part is that with stem splitters the era of secrets is gone anyway
