I hate these small focus group articles. They are so depressing that there are too many quotes to highlight. But I read them!

Holidays always bring out Republican hypocrisy because they are against what every holiday stands for. Seriously, would we have MLK, Memorial, Independence, Juneteenth, Labor Day if they could do over all the holidays? At best they have a skewed interpretation of what they mean.

Does Prince Charming still exist? A spate of media scrutinizing the one-percent—including “Materialists” and “Anora”—attests to the difficulty of romanticizing wealth and love.
The Rise of the Anti-Cinderella Story
A pair of recent films, Celine Song’s “Materialists” and Sean Baker’s “Anora,” turn the fairy tale on its head, with mixed results.

Folks always ask me what stories aren’t getting enough attention.

Pay attention to India and Pakistan - this is the most tense situation in several years and has the potential to spiral out of control if cooler heads don’t prevail.

So this was the sky last night. Early evening is the best time to catch the planetary parade, but it’ll be happening for few weeks, and Mercury might even be visible too at the end of the month.
