Did a double feature of Goat and Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die yesterday. Had a pretty good time with both.

Director Gore Verbinski tells us why AI-generated slop won’t be able to truly replicate real filmmaking anytime soon.

“It’s ingesting all this stuff off the internet, and spitting it out so exponentially fast. So now, it’s starting to drink its own piss.”

This may sound odd, but I really wanna do my own stop motion fan film adaptation of Yertle The Turtle, especially with how the story can be applied to current events. You think I should go for it?

I went to see Batman '89 in Concert yesterday! Love Danny Elfman's score and watching the movie with the music played live was a fun experience.

Re-posting this poster I made last year due to it being even more relevant now. I may or may not be currently working on a follow up to this thing...

I'm 31 today. The journey of being a man in my 30s continues. Hopefully I'll be able to achieve as much, if not more than I did last year.

“GAY AND TRANS PEOPLE ARE ONLY 10% OF THE POPULATION!! WHY ARE THEY IN EVERY MOVIE AND TV SHOW!!!”

Billionaires are literally labeled as “The 1%” nobody bats an eye at them being in literally all of media!

Rewatching the making-of documentaries for The Lord of the Rings trilogy never fails to remind me why I'm so obsessed with the art of filmmaking! Like I get giddy seeing how much thought and attention to detail they put into those films.

Instead of using public domain characters for gimmicky horror movies, maybe filmmakers should make weird romantic comedies designed to officially ship any free-to-use characters they want. Straight, queer, you name it. XD

Booooo!!! Give it a theatrical release, cowards!
‘THE LEGEND OF AANG: THE LAST AIRBENDER’ movie will no longer release in theaters next year

Instead, the film will be released exclusively on Paramount+

I just spent close to 5 hours in a movie theater to experience this (including previews and an intermission). Totally worth it!

I saw someone call Ai a Thneed and I can't stop thinking about it. It's a PERFECT analogy. The Thneed was an all-purpose tool that didn't do anything really useful. It was a fad that did major damage to the environment to make the Onceler a billionare. It left no real lasting impact, only damage.

I'm now currently in the process of writing my second book! This will be more of an all-ages novel than a picture book. Can't say much except, similar to my first book, it's about a beast with a dream. Wish me luck.

Feeling experimental and inspired by classic cel animation, I recently took line art from my book and printed it on transparency film to paint my own cel! As a first attempt, I admit it's messy. But it still felt cool making something like this.

Had a great vacation at Universal Orlando (including Epic Universe) with my buddy @smhardinart.bsky.social! We even got to top off the trip seeing Jaws 50th anniversary there! 🦈

After going through a rough time recently, I really needed this kind of escape.

Having an awesome time at Universal Orlando with my buddy @smhardinart.bsky.social !
Not gonna be super active for a bit. It’s nice to take breaks from the internet. I’m spending the week reuniting with one of my closest friends in the whole world @amhaas.bsky.social in Orlando. We’ve been through a lot the last few months and we both needed this. We are both having a blast here.

I have finally fully and accurately explained my problem with how it’s marketed and used.

And now, you can use it, too.

I was recently commissioned to build a Toto puppet for a kids production of Wizard of Oz. It was quite a challenge, but I think it came out nicely. The head control rod has a trigger for the mouth and the body rod handle has a pull string for the tail.

Who do you guys personally think is the most underrated Muppet or Henson-created character in general?
