My son is supposed to enter Kindergarten next year. He already has an IEP in preschool. I work full time in higher education. I can’t afford daycare or private school for him. Every time I read the news, I feel physically ill and terrified. If I could emigrate, I would do it in a heartbeat.

I was looking for professional development modules online today. I somehow landed on the National Archives training website.
Guys. Nothing is available. It’s all “under review“ until sometime in the future. Jesus Christ.

After reading and listening to the increasing panic, I’m finding myself wondering what, if anything, I can do to help push back against Trump. I live in a Red town in a Red state. I wish I had the means to move to Canada or Australia.

I know I’m supposed to have eternal rage for…waves at the state of the world. But it was so wonderful to spend a quiet, joyful Christmas with my mother and son. Happy Holidays however you celebrate.

It finally happened to me.
An acquaintance tried to tell me that The Democrats created COVID to remove tRump from office in 2020; now they’re apparently doing it again with bird flu. I know it’s old news, but I’ve never heard anyone who drank the MAGA kool aid that hard say it out loud to my face.

It finally happened to me.
