🪇 I started writing a new TV pilot today and I'm so, so excited about it. A political sci-fi family drama ✨

It's an idea that I first wrote as a 15-minute radio play about six years ago, and has been noodling in the back of my mind ever since.

Time to goooooo 🥳

The sun is out, iced coffees are back, I have fun plans tonight, and I just wrote the best sentence of my life

Such a basic joy but my boyfriend and I have taken to going onto whatever streaming platform and throwing on a random mid-budget 90's film we've never heard of

They are almost always action-packed and pacy, lushly coloured in various hues of brown, and entertaining as fuck. Often Al Pacino too

So excited to watch Miss Austen in full on BBC iPlayer - another one I was really lucky to catch a preview of during post-production!

The more I find out about the world, I see how unfair and unkind it is. The more I find out about people, I see how multi-faceted and extraordinary we are. I know the problem is capitalism, but it's still almost impossible to reconcile.

- screen my debut short in festivals
- production manage another short (filming in March)
- make a short for a charity (pitched)
- deliver a creative workshop in a prison
- finish my WIP feature
- write another feature
- get repped
