Fantasy, by its very nature, is speculative fiction. It is meant to deconstruct, critique, and examine things through a new lense. The trick is to tell readers an engaging enough story, that they don't notice.

Can we be past the era of waifish, doe-eyed, yet some how supposedly bad ass female protagonist? I want female leads with scars, love handles, that like being women and enjoying feminine things, or who don't. I want mothers, and child free by choice.

I've had a quote stuck in head for days and I cannot find what movie it is from.

In light of recent events, I've decided to rebrand my book.
While "author gets isekaied into her own book and has torrid love affairs" is still applicable.

I think "Interdemensional, possibly divine being topples oppressive regime they inadvertently created" has also has a nice ring to it.

In light of recent regime changes, I'm currently working on how to do direct epub downloads through patreon. This will be included in some tiers and can be purchased separately. Not everyone can afford physical media, but I can try to make sure no one can take the digital you can.

If you're having trouble coming up with countries/cities while world building, remember, there are a bunch of countries that don't technically exist anymore. Dive through Wikipedia, find a principality that only existed from 875ce to 1000ce, be inspired.

I sometimes find myself so confused by het omegaverse. You have infinite possibilities for playing with gender dynamics, and instead chose big strong man/small delicate woman with werewolf flavoring. It just seems unimaginative.
