My wife has the flu. She's wrecked enough I had to take her to the doctor. Apparently I had it last week, but just a slight fever, headache, and multiple cold sores for me.
I guess I received the superior flu shot this year.

Yesterday I baked a cake AND ran errands. These two perfectly normal human activities were too much for my body, so today I feel like crap.

I made my first layer cake since childhood. I ran out of vanilla frosting, so you can kinda see the chocolate cake underneath in places. It's also leaning a bit. But I'm calling it a win.
