BREAKING: The House passed the so-called SAVE America Act which threatens to upend our freedom to vote.

The bill could disenfranchise millions of eligible voters by requiring documents like passports or birth certificates to register to vote and forcing voter roll purges. The Senate must reject it.

Building something is so much fun! And also terrifying. What are your tips for keeping it together while trying to bring something to life?
Just sent out my first email blast to 57 potential alpha testers for my side project, Webcomic Studio. I am so nervous. This is when everything will break, I'm sure of it, despite all the testing I've done.

How does anyone launch software without having a heart attack?????

Wow - the state of Utah has been using #ai for prescription renewals since January. I wonder how it's been going?

Utahns can use A.I. to renew their drug prescriptions. A tech company touts the benefits, but doctors have concerns.
A generative A.I. program could change the way Utahns get their prescriptions renewed. The head of the Utah Medical Association, though, is worried it doesn't have enough guardrails to protect patient...

In America we optimized for lifespan instead of #healthspan.
Even as Americans live longer, they spend more of their years in poor health than any other country, a new study shows.

People in the US live with illness for 12.4 years on average – up from 10.9 years in 2000, according to a study published by the American Medical Association

Oh good. The reason my API was returning a 500 error was because I used parentheses instead of [ ] in my settings.py file. Glad we figured that out.

Filing under "Advice I wish I'd had at the time."
the first time i got an IUD, my doctor told me verbatim “if you ever need to get another one and they don’t offer you a local anesthetic, get off the table and leave.” i’ve lived by that advice ever since.

do some doctors find it annoying? sure. but i’d rather be annoying than in unnecessary pain.
