The president's power of pardons has always been there. Since everyone knows who signed it, refusing to reveal the name seems rather ridiculous.

The president's power of pardons has always been there. Since everyone knows who signed it, refusing to reveal the name seems rather ridiculous.
It feels like she's not clarifying things, but rather 'recreating' them... Every statement she makes is like adding a splash of chili to the news.
An important part of the job for any WH Press Secretary is to clean up remarks made by the president or offer explanation/context or apology when warranted. But Leavitt never does that. She always crafts a response that makes it even worse by adding her own toxic twist.
