"Just was curious if you had any pointers or suggestions on how to get the dialogue with characters right?"
screenshot of a reply to a question: I'd encourage breaking the character into their wants, drives, and flaws; like a bullet point list, that's light and easy to go back to. Then throw in some of their personalized one-liners (Judy for example: cheese and crackers), or notes that encourage specific thoughts when writing said character (Judy for example: will lean on bunny and burrow analogies; will be vegtable and farming focused in their analogies) Once you have that, it's like... the characters will write themselves when you introduce them into your sandbox environment/story. Let the character explore their own actions and reactions, and try not to force a character to oppose themselves with your open desires. Instead, set it up with solid reasons so that their traits logically lead them to pursue the direction you want the story to go

TLDR:
I drew some bunnies on the beach. It inspired Tacokurt to reach out and ask to draw fan art. I was feeling vore-pilled, and then drew up even *more* art to support the fan art!
